Anyone can take CommUniversity courses! The goal of CommUniversity is to offer an interesting variety of courses at an affordable price. Regardless of age, previous exposure to the topic at hand, or general level of education, you can participate in CommUniversity.
We offer five categories of courses: Theology and Church Life; Arts and Humanities, Personal Enrichment, Regional Studies and Public Affairs. Most courses are taught on the four Sundays in February in mid-afternoon. A few courses are taught on either the first two or the last two Sundays in February. Of course, you can combine two such courses to design your own four-week program.
HOW TO WATCH A GOOD CLASS DIE
Nothing kills a good class more quickly than everyone waiting until the last minute to register! There is a point—usually two weeks in advance of the start date—when a decision must be made on whether a class will run or not. So remember, please do not wait until the last minute to sign up! It may be too late!
REGISTER BY filling out the registration form. Please provide your name, address and course selection (first and second choice). Enclose a check for the $20.00 registration fee and any additional course charges. After January 3, brochures will be available through St. Ambrose University College for Professional Studies, 1950 E. 54th Street, Davenport, Iowa 52807, or call 563/441-9950.
TEXTBOOKS are required for some courses. The book titles are listed with the course description. You can use a copy you already own, purchase a book from any source, or borrow a book from a library. In order for CommUniversity to purchase the book for you, the registration for the course and payment for the book need to be submitted before January 15. Books pre-ordered in this way may be picked up at the opening day ceremony.

REFUNDS are not generally considered except in the case of classes cancelled due to insufficient registrations.
